The current generation of AN6675 turntable drive integrated circuits is physically smaller than the earlier versions of this IC.

Consequently, it will not fit into the existing holes in the earlier TL1200 turntable main printed circuit boards.

This adapter PCB has holes to accept the 24 pins of the newer, smaller AN6675 IC along with presoldered pins that match the existing holes in the main PCB.

This will require that the new IC be soldered onto this adaptor board, and also that the pins on the board be soldered into the exiting main PCB. A fine tip soldering iron will be required to complete this job. 

Also too, the existing heatsink will require a new hole be drilled and a thread tapped to accommodate the bolt attachment points of the smaller IC. 

We do not supply a replacement heatsink and you will have to modify the existing one yourself to suit accordingly.
